SERVICE AFTERNOON SHIFT SUPERVISOR
Vision Truck Group is looking for a mature individual to join the team at our Heavy Truck Dealership in Brampton, Ontario as a Service Afternoon Shift Supervisor. The Service Afternoon Shift Supervisor will oversee quality control, production, coaching and guiding employees. We are looking for an individual to fill our afternoon shift (4:30pm - 2:00am) position.
Duties include, but are not restricted to:
- Reports to Service Manager
- Manage repairs to confirm estimated times are being met
- Manage technicians, confirm they are on duty at their assignments
- Report to the foremen
- Manage and supervise employees in accordance to company policies
- Review and audit repair orders for completion and quality
- Ensure customer vehicle is returned clean and sanitized when the repairs are completed
- Ensure tools are put away properly
- Report any damaged, faulty, or missing tools
- Inform the foremen when repair orders are scheduled to be completed within 1/2 hour of completion to ensure the foremen has the next assignment ready for the technician
- Work with Service Manager to implement short, medium and long-term goals
- Maintain daily shop inspections for safety, organization, and cleanliness
- Other duties as assigned and in line with the role
Health and Safety:
- Good knowledge of all safety policies, rules, regulations as required by the company and legislation
- Maintain good housekeeping standards with the facility through job delegation
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, rules and regulations by all employees under his supervision as required by the company and legislation
- Ensure all PPE is worn as per Company policy
- Respond to any workplace hazards identified by the JHSC
- Investigate incidents that result in vehicle damage
- Ensure correct handling and storage of all products in the shop
- Respond to and correct unsafe behaviors
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a shop leadership role
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Health and Safety knowledge and experience is an asset
- Experience in the automotive industry is an asset
- Mack/Volvo experience is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
