Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Daily unit repair status follow up
    • Daily review of units currently down at locations. Reason why they are down, what is currently being done on them, what is still outstanding. 
    • Identify items that require prompt attention.
    • Provide these daily reports to the Operations Manager to act upon. 
  • Ongoing Invoice Review
    • Review invoices coming from Vision branches and outside vendors to ensure the following is being addressed
    • Warranty items are being billed through warranty 
    • Parts warranty is being reconciled 
    • Customer damages are being identified and billed back to the customers
    • Outstanding repairs are being addressed
    • Labor and parts billing is consistent across fleet  
  • Maintenance tracking
    • Beginning of each month compile a report of units that require safety and maintenance for the month.
    • Track those units throughout the month to ensure they are getting done in a timely manner. 
    • Follow up on completion of maintenance items and update sheets accordingly.
  • Rental Dispatch and check-in
    • Organize and dispatch rental units to customers 
    • Follow up on rental returns and ensure rental fleet is well maintained
    • Monthly, travel to the Vision truck group branches to inspect rentals at each branch, as well as any lease units in the shops at those times. 
  • Truck movements
    • Be available to assist with moving trucks to their destinations should the need arise.
